they need to be softened to levels just above the hardness they were at when 1.08 first came out.

currently they are no fun to straff because 2 trucks takes nearly all of a fighters ammo load
Fester was my in game name until September 2013

I posted this same thought a week ago.  A single fighter without 20mm has no hope of taking out a truck convoy.  You might get 2 or 3 trucks, but that's it and you'll be outta ammo.

They need to be somewhere between where they were in the first release (rediculously whimpy) and where they are now (a little too tough).

Just a note here on trains. I dropped a 500lb'er at the side of the tracks when the engine was there. The crater overlapped the tracks. The engine kept chuffing merrily away. This is armoring way out of proportion to what it should be. At the risk of being labled as a fan of the 50's, a 50 cal armed fighter should be able to drill an engine and stop the train in one pass. Those old steam engines weren't THAT tough to puncture.

Killed 4 trucks with HALF of the d pony ammo load the other night.  Whats so bad about that?  Reckon they need to make them 60-80% of the toughness thy are now and that would be just about right...
