Maybe after some time, we'll get to actually see 'forests', 'roads' and 'plains' aspect of current terrain

Trees wouldn't be just randomly scattered across the earth like some close-up pic of a shaved chin.. they might be grouped tightly together providing cover from visual scan and air attacks, but would hold very little space to maneuver for a GV driver..

(Of course, it would be pretty dark for the GV driver, like as if he was under cloud front

And cutting across these forests, we'd might be able to see roads, enabling the GVs to move faster than usual, but very open and vulnerable to air attack.
