It's kinda funny, but right after the U.S. incursions into Pakistan started, the Pak's reported that they killed 100 militants' on their side of the border themselves. However, they are still mad that the U.S. has violated their territorial integrity to move across themselves.

I wonder if that 100 killed thing is a hoax? Designed to make the U.S. think that the Pak's have their side of the border under control? Because they still want the U.S. to stay out.

I'd guess that as long as the paki's don't roll air defense assets into the area and continue 'marking' themselves so they don't get ID'd incorrectly, the US and NATO units that do cross over won't be engaging them. On the political side, they need to continue to make objectionable noises to the world regarding US incursions so they don't wind up with another social upheaval and loss of power to fundamentalist factions. It's a balancing act... they won't squeak too loudly as long as we don't get indiscriminate or overt in our operations over the border.
