So far I am very happy. The best thing I can say is that I flew for over two hours, two red beacons, NO DISCOS.
Well, playing around, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE VIEW ABILITY.
And maybe with practice Right Handed folks can use them while performing ACM.
I personally had to put my Keyboard to the left, and fly with my right.
It is hard to press up to three keys and fly to get the views.
I will keep practicing.
I have a trackball mouse, and I think it would be great to use the trackball or mouse to control head movement.
Tough nut to crack.
I also have a Logitech Wingman Force Feedback USB Joystick.
I know that FF is something for the Future but of my immediate concern is the hat switch, and 9th Button.
AH Allows users to configure up to Two 4 Way Hat Switches.
I only have one 8 way hat.
Please hurry the development of the ability to use all 8 directions.
Also there is a 9th Button. I can only program 8 with AH.
Perhaps you could get reps from the Major Stick Manufacturers, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Saitek, and Even MS to come and help you develop a feature so that AH Auto recognizes the type of stick you have connected.
While flying offline, but connected to the internet, awaiting my Password, I found a bug but could not get it to reproduce.
I locked up my whole computer, In flight, Note Pad, Keyboard Mapper, Hit Cancel.
I had to reboot hard reboot my computer from the O N / O F F Switch.
I would post it on the bug page, but couldn't reproduce it. Perhaps someone else will read this and figure out how to reproduce it. I will keep trying.
I was also able to take off with my gear up.
I hit fly.
Pressed a Stick Button and Raised the gear.
Started engine.
Waddled about a bit.
Pressed stick button and lowered gear, and took off.
I had FPS between 35 and 41.
Saw quite a few warps.
Also please someone explain how AutoTrim Speed Functions? I Know Shift X enables it, but whats the point if you can't set the speed?
