I have the original FA2 on my computer. And I promise you that IMO, FA2 was far better. Better planes, better fights....

Interesting.  The "New Account" is showing as "Not yet available."  I am almost certain that when I clicked that button last week it was active.  I got real close to downloading the offline installer and changed my mind.  Now that is marked "Not yet available."

Maybe they found some show-stopper bugs or something and closed it down.  Either way, it is just getting started so no surprise that there is not much going on with it yet.

well, FA3 always needed something to get it going. Maybe this'll finally do it. I keep a subscription out to FA3 to escape from AHII, but, I plan to cancel it.
