AMEN! I don't think any Presidential politics should happen farther out than 6 months before the final election. All primaries and conventions should happen within the first 4 months and leave the last 2 months to nothing but getting down to the final election. That way we don't have to listen to the BS for 2+ years like we have this time. Next election they will start this crap 3 years before the actual election.

I tried the first two Hornblower books and found the Aubrey/Maturin series to be much more complex and in-depth.
