I downloaded it but it doesn't seem to be working... N1K, F6F, Il2 and 262 all look to be 512^2 skins... :(
Oh man, I'm stupid. I downloaded the .exe but I didn't run it.

Bummer that HTC won't try to open 8-Player for paying customers. :(

These threads crack me up.  HTC makes things more correct for current planes and because those changes limit a specific view when the prior incorrect view was "better"... they whine to have the incorrect view back.  Funny stuff.  If it makes things more true to the original... then so bit it.   :salute

Yeah, I would like to even more planes be added as there are some holes in the catalog, but HTC has plenty of irons in the fire.  More will be added as time goes on.  Patience is virtue.  Instead of whining, step out of teh 16, Nik2, Lala, and pony and go try some of the less-uber planes and prentend they are something new.

Personally, I'd like to see more variants of the planes we already have.  That would easiest for HTC to the game.  More Mossi variants, more M3/M4 gv variants (priest, M3 w/ 75mm inf gun, etc), Ju87G, Fw190F-8/U3 (U3 had a bomb side), Boston Mk4 or Mk6 (heavier bomb load w/ bomb sight), P40N, etc, etc.  There are many aircraft that we already have in the game that have outstanding variants that are missing.  That would be the easiest for HTC to add to the game, IMO.

Checked with the old 23mm gun package, they just don't show up any more.
Strange, suppose it's just a bug. Might want to report it.

Don't forget that there's probably something baked into this patch that *isn't* being mentioned:

That would be the secret new plane/boat/dinosaur/superhero that will undoubtedly be used for the Evil Con Mission on October 25th.

Muhahaha!

If you wanna fly it for yourselves, you're just gonna hafta come to The Con.

I took the new IL-2 out for a test run and love the 37mm guns. I dont know what the specs are on them but I took a Sherman out with a quick burst.

The new T34/85 looks like a great tank. I only fired the big gun in practice but it feels like an 88 going off. This is going to be a terrific raider tank with its speed.

The Hellcat was a dissapointment. What can I say?

The WS support is terrific. I agree its the most important part of the update.

I love the widescreen support. Everything now looks in focus. The only down side is now parts of the instrument panel are cut off.

I also like the new T34/85. It's nice but not worthy as a perk ride. It seems to loose it's tracks or turret with ease. The old T34 can take a lot more punishment.

All in all, A big  :salute to the HTC staff.
