TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,

The RAF received 93 and the USAAF 55 of the P-51/Mustang IA. It was in this a/c that Flt Lt Hollis of Pasadena Calif became the 1st Mustang ace on June 11 1943. Many were still flying til well after D-Day. The 55 American P-51s were fitted with cameras and assigned to the MTO.
