I find with the Typhie is that it's acceleration is poor but it hold E very well.  Rolls bad but rudder is decent.  So, BnZ is pretty good and leading the shot is best IMO.  It is a great attack plane too.  Anybody with low-medium skill rate in this game can have some success in this.  After a while it does become a little boring because you can't have variation in ACM's such as the corsairs or spits or 109's.

Just my take on the typhie.

acceleration may feel slow, but its actually one of the best in game. otherwise about right i'd say :)
