Justa side note or question..... Do we really want to basically let 1 squad (5 guys?  so i've read) have the power to basically mute anyone they want, at any time? Hypothetical scenario, i'm a 2 week noob,i have 5 buddies, we go on and report everyone on the roster, say a Friday night, text buffer be pretty thin till Monday morning?   justa thought. :noid

Hey 1Cap, you do know that you can share/cover several of you're ideas with one post. :aok

Unless you just like posting back to back for no reason other than to add a high post count to lame threads.

i do realize that, but i don't know how to get different quotes from different posts into a single one of mine, so i do it this way so as to avoid possible confusion. and no, i don't like posting more. m typing skills are about the same as my fighting skills in the p38. :D

From my understanding it takes ten individuals using dot report to mute someone. If you say something offensive and get muted that's your fault, but if you think you did nothing wrong call HTC. They will check the text logs and see if you did anything wrong. Bringing to the boards will only get you in trouble.

i fully agree withj the "blame it on yourself" thing.
the only problem i forsee now, is "interpretation" anyone can find a way to make almost anything you say seem offensive to them.
i think the best thing now, is simply to keep film running quite a bit. if you get reported, and truely did nothing wrong, at least you have proof.

Well..if he needs to hide behind his squaddies as well, i can bite the bullet a week, give me time to think how to express my ideas to him more eloquently. Still pretty chiknchit to mute w/o warning, whoever it may be. nuff said. :salute

Well, that's just storch and his squadron.  I find it ironic that they changed their squadron name to 'Class Acts', an oxymoron if I've ever seen one.  If they can't shoot you down, they'll mass .report you for shooting them down.

HA!!!!!

i'm safe then!!!!

as i shot down one of his squaddies, he saddled me up, and i was at that point waayy tooo slow to shake him.

i have to say though.....gunny50 i think his name was...one of that squad......very cool seeming guy. fights, without ho'ing or ramming, and doesn't complain if he gets kilt. also doesn't start talking smak when he kills.

fighting tactics, whining, moaning , complaining,, really doesnt matter to me, now, when you get you mindless drones to mass report someone "cuz i said so" , well, personally, i see it as an intrusion on my game playing, if you dont like what i say, mute me, it's pretty simple, took much more effort to block my text than to squelch me. But,, he get's to ramble on now, doesn't he,  suddenly, i'm taking this personally. :furious

Too late!  Cartoon Kangaroo Court has came back with a GUILTY verdict. Pronounced sentence...DEATH BY HANGING
What's the point? Storch could never be considered well hung :D
