The 13MPG was assigned to protect the radar facility in (8-10) grid for the axis.
We upped our 109 G6's with 17 pilots. Arrived at rally point and headedinto (9-10). Alt was 15-20 as we were stacked .
Big groups of LA5n's started to approach from the east at a much higher alt. We then tried to break records by discoing in pairs.lol. I think we wound up with 11 pilots b4 shots were fired. Very confused we reorganized and engauged the first group of La5's .
Salute to the Allied La5's, those lil buggers were hard to hit. We regrouped from first wave and ran back to our radar tower that was flashing now. 13MPG had only a handful of guys left at this point. We stood our ground and we all died
at the radar factory. I checked the films and there were la5's noe, and more coming from the east.
We were the only ones defending the target and i'm pretty sure the allies hit it good.
Salute to all that flew, we had a good FSO. On behalf of the 13MPG, we understand that disco's happen, and we aint gonna gripe about it..
