tank bouncing around after stoping
« on: September 29, 2008, 09:30:04 PM »
happens now and then,  roll to a spot and cut the engine and the tank seems to stop on a vibrator plugged into 220v,  i know parking on a bomb crator will do it but next to a tree  or an object im getting tired of this,  and im not talking about the recoil of the main gun but the whole tank jumping up and down like two rabbits making up for lost time and on a deadline for kids here, :rofl  maby im the only one finding this problem.

I shift into highest gear when i park, so it limits my kickback from the main gun.

Are you referring to a remedy for the bouncing by shifting into neutral until you settle into position?

Yes, shift into neutral....

But the modeling for tanks and gv's in AH is pathetic and not up to the standard of its flight model.  You get spawned onto hedges sometimes, and the hedge flips your tank. :huh  You can flip your tank on the sheep for god's sake. :furious  I've even had my tiger spun into the air by contacting a building too much, spun me 540 degrees horizontally before I landed.
