Autorecording interface
« on: September 23, 2008, 10:35:09 AM »
autorecording was a great wishlist suggestion, and well done HTC for picking it up - simple change, great feature. :aok

I would like just one tweak though - when the save dialog comes up at the end of a fight you can press enter as a shortcut to save the film with the suggested name, but you have to use mouse to click the cancel button to dismiss it.

Please enable the ESC key to dismiss the dialog.

I agree.
When in a fight, or landing, and you turn off the FV, and a box takes up the center of your screen... well... it's annoying :D
But, as you said, good job HT, thanks for the option!  :salute

Yup, if you died with the mouse in "h" mode there doesn't seem to any way not to save the film.

I hate asking for more since I'm so happy just to have this period, but if there was a way to disable that popup until the end of your sortie and then have it come up that would be great.  If you happened to film more than one on your flight just have two boxes pop up and it's on you to figure out which one's which :)

Either that or have a way to trim the films in the filmviewer itself.  Then we could just leave it on "autorecord" no problem.

We have a 'showjoin' command for the text buffer and I like this new film feature so much I hate to see it done away with but maybe there is a way to make the save feature a 'showfilm' command?
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

I wish the popup box wouldn't halt all video/audio activity BEHIND IT until you click a button. I wish you could still see things going on BEHIND the popup box until you decide what to click.
