78th Fighter Group



8th Air Force

84th Fighter Squadron (AvA Arena)


To: AvAers


From: SgtTalen-Commanding Officer of the 84th Fighter Squadron

CC: Campaign Series: Italy '43-45 Frame One


     The 84th Fighter squadron of the 78th Fighter Group " Eagles Of Duxford " are deploying our P47D's into the AvA this tour to assist the Allied Invasion of Sicily. We are a P47 Based squadron and are currently recruiting Pilots to fly along side us in the AvA this tour.

      We currently have 7 slots available to fill the slots of our Two Flight Groups. If you're interested in joining the 78th FG/84th FS in the AvA Arena, please feel free to Pm myself in game at "SgtTalen" or pm myself on BBS forums, or post here.  We look forward to seeing our Thunderbolts cause mayhem.  :cool:

Both squads from the 78th FG (78th FG and 84th FS) will be throwing our jugs around the AvA for the next month :D

yeah, both sides of the 78th FG are spread out fairly well when it comes to time zones... things are a bit difficult at the moment as well. and I just joined a new dev team so I have very little time to fly at the moment; I should be able to make some time to fly here shortly..
