Well, wasn't this a big issue that sort of fizzled again in the national spotlight a year ago?  If we're going to do something lets do it.  Aparently, we aren't so...........

In the meantime, a perk to fair tax is that no one would be free-riding.  No under the table pay that isn't taxed.  Under the table pay wouldn't matter.

I have no problem with a fair tax so long as it is about half of what it is now and can only be increased by a two thirds majority except in wartime and then dropped back at the end of a war.

If you have a fair tax and it tries to raise as much money as it does now.. it will never work.  It will stifle all investment and growth and discourage family.

How much money goes into the Social security coffers from illegal aliens - thart will never be collected by said people.
I will bet you would be surprised.
But
How much gets taken out in SSI funds... stop that faucet flow .. most here probably don't even realize...
Soc Security would be gone right now if it wasn't for the illegals not collecting because of fake soc sec numbers....
Why does congress not make a real concerted effort to stop the flow

Social Security is sad and a stop gap. Closed hospitals, empty state welfare coffers, closed state and local social services, resistant diaseases not seen in 100 years, increased gang activity and crime, the cost of that crime and lost revenues.....and all those defaulted loans by ilegal aliens because the mean spirited Americans decided to have a financial melt down on their ilegal immigration parade.....

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.
