so that is the real reason to add the HE-111???    Because it is sexy?   

While I agree that it is needed for historical scenarios, that is the one and only reason to add it.  No one with any common sense will ever fly it in the regular game.

For who on earth is going to want to fly a slower plane that carries less bombs just because it LOOKS cool??   Absolutely no one.....   The plane will be a complete and total flop just like the P-39 has been.

That is also my point as well.   The plane would be totally worthless except for historical scenarios.

The JU 88 is faster and also has a much bigger payload.

So why would you fly a totally INFERIOR Axis plane in every way, except in other than a historical scenario???

Because we need it and want it why do you need the B-29 or A-26?

Maybe because it is a far faster plane, climbs much better, and thus can work much better in coordination with a JABO fighter attack.  

That, plus I actually have a decent chance of coming back alive when I fly a B-26, due to the 4800 rounds of 50 caliber ammo in the tail guns of a formation.    I kill quite a few fighters from the B-26 tail gun position.   Certainly far more than with any other bomber in the game.

Lancasters are so lightly gunned, that they make awfully easy targets.  

In the actual real war, B-26 crews had the highest crew survival rate of any bomber.

If you guys want to fly the HE-111 once it comes out that is fine with me.   I'll just keep on flying a faster plane that has far better guns on it for defense.

Hey Twin, give me an He-111, you take your B-26. Air to Air, I will screw you up. Air to ground (bombing) I will blow your arse back to the stone age. Just because its not uber doesnt mean it will get no use. The P-47D11 is considered to be an inferior plane, and yet it is my prefered Jug. The P-40E sees a good deal of action, and I prefer the Hurricane I to the IIC. So, uh, perhaps just because YOU rely solely on the uberness of your aircraft doesn't mean the MEN won't fly the Heinkel.

You are becoming rather confused here, as I never said that I wanted the B-29.   You obviously have me confused with other folks that have posted here in this thread.

There is another thread in this forum currently going about the Invader, and I've already repeatedly explained there why the Invader is needed.   Why should I repeat yet once again for you something that I've already told you repeatedly in our discussion we are having in that thread?   That is totally unnecessary, completely redundant, and makes no sense at all.

Do you need to hear something several times, before you are able to comprehend what is being said??

Heck, you have not even done me the courtesy of answering my questions directed to you in the Invader thread even once.   You simply ignored my questions that I asked you there in that thread, and then you ask me to now repeat myself again here for you.   Sorry, but I am not going to play this game with you.

Because I LIKE flying crappy planes ok! I admit it! Spit 1 over spit16 anyday, Hurri 1 or Hurri IIc? Hurri 1. HE111 or Lancaster/B24? He111. Zero or f6f? Zero. I think Im putting my point across, but another point Id like to make is that im not alone. Many people have the same idea as me. You actually see a lot of LA5's, P40's Spit 5's Spit 1 and Hurri 1's flying around in the late war arena. I also see alot of Stuka's (WHY up a stuka? You have a P47!) The He111 will see quite  abit of action. It certainly wont be a hanger queen, and then we have scenarios, but I think others have made that point already. So you have your uber planes, and give me my crappy HE111 that doesnt carry very much ord, and I'll be happy.

The He-111 came out very early in war you just want late war planes we got 2 many late war planes and a lot of early war planes were good for there time.

Glock, did you even READ my post? Because by your answer I suspect not. You skimmed it and made your post. I said I would LOVE the HE111. Yes it is a crap plane, yes it is an under armed bomber that wont carry as much as the B24/B17/Lanc. But I DONT CARE. I want this plane caus I love it, and I would use it in the MA, simply caus I like it. I like crap planes (And you cant deny its crap compared to the B24). Im all for Early planes. I have been one of the main supporters of the HE111 since I came. I started playing aces high for 2 reasons. First was the Stuka, which I got. I then hoped for the HE111 which I am STILL waiting and hoping for. Look in my signiture for goodness sake! Does it even look as if I dont want it? I suggest re-reading my post, then answering again. I think you'll find that our views are similar.
