I use the Saitek 290 pro stick. The slide throttle is not recognized, does not even give an option,in the "map controller" screen. Anyone have a tip or suggestion that will help me program the slider.

First make sure it works in windows.
If it doesn't, chances are its a pinched wire or other fault.
