Actually, all you're really doing by repeating this "get it" quote over and over... is that your opinion is right and he is too immature or stupid to realize it.  In short, you believe you have superior standing, no matter what.  It's obtuse, but it is exactly what you are saying.  This "it" is some hypothetical that you have figured out, that he has not.... and when he does.... boy, the whole world will shift.

Get over yourself.

I'm glad you know what I'm thinking better than I do.     Now back to your troll hole!  :devil

Seriously.  Don't apologize.  You stated you position... he disagreed by making you seem inferior to him.  Stand firm, there is no need to apologize.

Besides, these loony OC repubs think it's weak.

I took offence that he thought I was threatening him with violence, which I wasn't.  He apologized for that and I respect him for it.

Now back into the troll hole with you.

They do. They see any form of capitulation and smell blood.

But, when dealing with threats outside of this BBS, it's best not to play games.

Yes, I saw exactly what you meant when you posted it.  It wasn't violence...it was a smug superiority that you feel you have the high ground.  It was obtuse, but played well within the loony little OC assylum.  How else could one explain your use of it in 4 different threads to the same effect?

Though, I could be wrong.  I though that it might possibly be your own little prayer.  You know, cuz, you don't get it.

the liberals are having a melt down because the great one obama is not 20 points ahead of the wrinkled old white man in the polls.

no need to worry, ACORN has registered enough fake voters to give obama the win, you see, non existent people don't answer polls.

While it's flattering and all to have so quickly and decisively formed a lynch mob - it really illustrates the fault around here, doesn't it? Write drivel about Obama (or Al Gore, or Hillary, or back in the 1990s, Bill Clinton), get praise. Attack McCain, get called out ad hominem.

I've been around a long time. Long enough to come to cons, long enough to drink with Drex, long enough to call Mark 'DoK GonZo' Miller a personal friend. Long enough to stand up in Eagl's wedding party, although I doubt he'd have much to do with me anymore - considering I outed myself as a Democrat. Long enough to remember long chats with Grey Eagle in Air Warrior, long enough to know that the little blue pincushion doll on a shelf in the control tower of a previous version of Aces High was BlueBaron. I know because HiTech told me. Personally. I remember the week of mourning when HT lost his sibling and their family in a SUV rollover from a defective tire manufacturer. I remember the missing man formations that week, and sending my deepest condolences privately.

I've been around long enough to have been Worr's original mentor, the guy who spent hours with him teaching him the view system until he easily outclassed his mentor. A friend of Snak, of Fletchman. Long enough to have Chris 'Smut' Martin help try and get me a job - although again, I openly wonder if he'd want anything to do with me now that he knows I'm an Obama democrat. I've been around long enough to have paid a friend of mine to draw the Flyingpigs logo, still flying at flyingpigs.com. Long enough to grant the image use to the USAF, and that pig now adorns a B2 bomber. Thank you, Ichi, for taking care of that.

When I left the Flying Pigs, and eventually signed off the mailing list, several Pigs emailed me. I won't name names, perhaps in vain hope that they will step up now. Guys who some of you may know. Many of you respect, as they have given more to this community by a factor of 100 than you have. They said, privately, "hey, were Democrats too, we just dont want to fight about it".

Oddly enough, if you look at the Pakistan thread, I doubt saying that we need to expand the war into Pakistan aggressively puts me in line with ANY democrat. I doubt saying that a naval blockade of Pakistan puts me on Nancy Pelosi's Christmas card list. So even if you lost nerve form caling me an idiot, and just reduced that to Party Hack, you'd be wrong on each of those.

I'm slicing at McCain. Because he sold out. And if you think about it, you'd agree. the John McCain of 2000 doesn't even know this John McCain. the John McCain of 2000 wouldn't think of overturning a woman's right to choose. This McCain has kissed the ring of the Christian right and swore to overturn Roe v Wade. If Palin were a Dem, this place would be destroying her every day. The hypocrisy is so thick, you MUST cut it with a axe.

I understand, this is enemy turf. None of you scare me, not even the graphic that says "Sooner or Later, you'll get yours." which is a lovely veiled threat of violence and all, but it doesn't scare me. Because I know, once you can't fight the argument anymore - once your position is so openly wrong that you have to admit that Bush screwed you - that he sent the Armed Services of the United States into a war that furthered his PRIVATE interests, that he ignored the REAL war in Afghanistan, once you think about what happened and who is making out in this bailout - maybe you'll be like some of the other Pigs, the ones who emailed me and said "we're with you, we just don't like fighting about it."

So take your ad hominem thread, and shove it.

BTW, I'm an IT Director at a bank. I make it a GOAL in life to prefer hire vets. Funny thing about active duty military contributions, they favor Obama. Funny that the 3 guys on my staff are all Dems. No, I didn't ask them a whit about their politics when I hired them.

Funny that.

I agree to a point, and its interesting to see Names like Worr in your post.... if its the Worr from Warbirds, he is the guy above all others who helped me get into these games.

Still, I agree this place has degenerated into a worthless pit and your right on the cause, the only problem is you only name the people on the other side who cause problems and none on yours.   skyrock and his type are JUST as bad.  Granted there are fewer of his type, but he is the most disruptive post on these forums and the main reason I hardly post here anymore(though the reps who do it to like WRAG make me no happier).

I think the Oclub has about run it course and will prolly be killed off soon.

It is sad, I have learned things from this board, and have changed my political views on several things over the years based on posts and conversations here from BOTH sides.

From what I've seen, you've argued you're points with intelligent articulation and class.  There are many on this board that are incapable of doing the same and resort to personal insults and uninformed heckling.  People like that have major issues and should be ignored.

While I don't agree with many of your views, I admire your dedication, loyalty and posting style.

Not returning the insults makes you the bigger man.   :salute

Ok, here's an adhominum attack: IT people are almost ALways anal-retentive (I HAD a better word, but it gets zapped)....do they start out that way, or does enforcing IT policies turn normal people into them?

<this of course in no way applies to employees of HTC :D>

Waa Waa Waa.

When people post quotes from a really questionable or biased source, or they say thing others find really moronic, they will be called on it.  Grow a set.

Ditto. :)

It'll be a sad day when the trolls cause the O'Club to get shut down imo. I think that day is rapidly approaching. This place is getting to the same level it was the last time HTC shut down the O'Club. Some folks just have no intention whatsoever of having civilized debate.
