might want to check what you get lately from some subscribed newsgroups.
got a nasty bugger from a buddy at work. He subscribed for years now, and suddenly last few weeks almost everything is bogus / infected. Downloaded a simple app to mount an iso as a drive, next thing I spent the whole day restoring PC...
BTW acronis backup can save you life!!!
just a heads up, used to be a fully reliable place, but bad things a-commin from the major newsgroups.
<EDIT> Oh and yes I know to never "trust" a source, but I am talking about a long trusted source for legitimate resources, not some fly-by-night deal. Just wanted to give a heads up.
