Hi Nockey, if you like german stuff, you might not like this game... some of us believe bias, I've only had an acct with this place for maybe a year out of the 11 years since first try.

Hmmm.  Beta tour 1 started in 8/99, I wonder how someone would have first tried it 11 years ago (9/97)?  The player currently ranked 5th overall seems to be doing fine exclusively killing in German planes and vehicles.

I'm far from a LW hater (or lover for that matter).... i have almost 5,000 (out of almost 40k kills) kills in the various 109/190 models, maintaining about a 2.0 k/d in each (considering my aggressive style, this indicates the planes are competitive).

Plenty of other LW dudes have chimed in as well about the competitiveness of these rides.

But then the OP was all about squads, not rides, per se.

The reason why Spitfires and N1Ks are called names is because main arena combat favors furballing, and those aircraft excel at it.  I like to call them names, too, but it's not because I get shot down by them a lot...quite the contrary.  If main arena combat favored hit and run tactics, like the real war where you had one life to lose, then the 190D-9 looks a lot more appealing than a Spitfire XVI (to me at least).

Well, from what the graph says - right before I quit was Tour 101 - my Average Attack K/D was 5.65
Seeing the planes I flew that tour I can agree why, 109k-4 got me out of trouble majority of time.

Looking at Earlier tours where I flew mostly 109g2/g6 my lowest K/D was 3.39 since I majority didnt make it home.

Erm... German ac have 9 min of wep, that refresh  when engine cools. American ac have 5, that refreshes when engine cools.
So please explain how that favors allied?
I suggest you look up favored in a dictionary.

You have to realize that Shlowy is a person that believes someone purposely crashed a rebuilt Bf 109 in an English led conspiracy to prove without a doubt that the Spitfire was the better plane.  That's how sad this individual is, he's really nothing more than your stereotypical Luftwhiner and should be viewed in that light when reading any of his posts. 

Your lack of success in the Bf 109 or FW190s is not due to any modeling 'bias' from HTC but rather from your own lack of skill, it's really that simple.  You have yet shown any proof whatsoever that there is any negative bias towards any of the Luftwaffe planes, and your cries and whines to the contrary do not constitute proof.

A few notes:

1.  You probably got chat suspended for something you said (profanity, player abuse, etc.) as you would in any game.

2.  Looking again at the list I posted above.  I get no more or less bias flying a German aircraft over any other. 

3.  To add to the modling point made above, the 190A-8 was one of my regular rides for years and usually still is.  Over the past six months I have over 10 kills per death while flying it on 70+ combined kills plus deaths.

4.  I have read in reputable sources that the Bf109's suffered control stiffness beginning at 400 mph.  This happens to be the exact point at which the 109's start to suffer control stiffness in AH.  In real life, this was overcome by the pilot cranking the elevator trim wheel, which was evidently quite difficult to do.  In AH this is overcome by simply pressing the K key (or whereever you've mapped it on your stick) to trim the elevators.

nockel, don't listen to this moron.  BTW, the spinning thing needs a patch.  It's related to the AMD dual core processors.  There's a sticky about it in the tech support forum.
