Other than looking at the ASI, I get no
clues from sound effects as to my airspeed.  The engine/wind sound is the same at 400mph full throttle or 100mph full throttle. Wind sound seems tied directly to throttle setting, and goes silet when u kill the engine.

We need a wind roar.  Every plane I've been in has this.  It should be a function of IAS only.

I'm sure something will be developed, it is still early days, yet.

Indeed, it will help a lot with SA.  I don't know if it will be all wind based or engine based (with variable pitch and constant speed props engine RPM won't necessarily be a good indication of speed).

Cheers,

Me hopes we will have control over volume of the sounds in AH!!  I tested RW this morning with someone(me couldn't transmit), and the engine sound was overpowering, could hear the guy fine when(as per ususal) I was shot down and found myself back in the silent tower.

Volume sliders come to mind.
