One more question: What do you guys recommend equipment wise? I remember the CH joysticks had great accuracy, but you really needed to get rudder pedals because they didn't have a twist stick which I kinda like because it makes for a more simple setup. Do any of the current twist sticks have good potentiometers? And is there any consensus on how to set things up, like deadband and dampening settings?
Rattfink, I may take you up on your offer, sounds like it would be a great way to get back into the swing of things. My biggest fear is that bein' a rookie I'll get pounced all the time and get shot up a lot. That gets frustrating.
