Saitek X52 Throttle Issue
« on: September 29, 2008, 04:07:44 PM »
The old Saitek X-45 has up and died on me.

Saitek sent me an X-52 as a replacement.

I have managed to program everything (within the AH assignment.. not using the Saitek Software) as I had it on the X-45 EXCEPT the throttle mouse control button (the rubberized button under my left thumb).  I could program it under the X-45 but AH doesn't see it at all.
The button shows up in Windows as a Mini Stick.

I want to use it to slide my head position left and right.  Anyone cracked the code on this?

Thanks in advance,

Never showed up as a mappable device within AH for me. The only thing that knob did for me was move the mouse off my screen when I started my sortie.

Funny... because the X-45 would show up just fine...
I'm hoping SOMEONE out there has resolved this...

I've looked into it a bit and found nothing.  I don't think it's mappable, so it can't be changed.
