Renault F.T 17? Considering the French still used it in WW2 ... I guess that makes the French tankers having the biggest nuts around. Was it equiped with a rear view mirror so they could keep an eye on the battle? I shouldn't joke about that, my Grand Pa's brother died burned alive in a tank. :salute

Frenchy got it in one. Renault F.T. 17. Main gun is a 37mm light infantry model (Two men would set it up and use it on a sledge or tripod, in it's ground version). Sometimes, just a machinegun. Some were still in use in Second-line duties as late as WWII.

We got a winner.

I went to this museum in Kansas City. OMG, i must had a dozen organisms. I never had been in a museum that was so detail on the history line of WWI. And the artifact they have, holy s^%&!
The newest addition they added in the collection is a French Renault FT17 tank. Plus they have every u.s.army uniform from all division, including the big red one. If you all ever in the area, I highly recommend you go to this.

Didn't SFRT - Frenchy post what it was on the last page?
