Obama may, indeed, be a Christian.  However, if you believe that he spent the first 11 years of his life in a muslim country, attending muslim schools, without it affecting the way he thinks about the United States and its government and people, then you're deluding yourself.  There are all sorts of little indicators of how he really feels about our country;  you've just got to pay attention to his words and actions.....and lay off the kool-aid.

I have no doubt that he is a "decent" man, in that he goes to church regularly, doesn't beat his wife and kids, speaks respectfully to his friends and peers, and votes regularly.  That is all the common ground he shares with me and most average Americans.

What's scary about him is that he appears ready to enact and enforce a leftist, socialist, remake of American politics, taxation, spending, and jurisprudence....and large numbers of voters can't seem to see the danger in this, especially in light of the current economic crisis.  The number of people who want to turn off their brains and abandon the very notion of personal responsibility grows with each decade.  Elect this man, and in ten years you won't recognize this country.  All resemblance to the United States of the post WW II era will have disappeared completely, and we will be well on our way to becoming a second rate economic and military power.

I thought Obama attended a catholic school, and secular primary school when he lived in Indonesia (which at the time was fresh from overthrowing an anti communist coup with help from the US govt) for only 4 years?

And considering GW is intent of spending $700 billion+ of your money nationalising banks (or worse just a strings free handout) whose own unrestricted practises have brought them undone in the truest sense of capitalism...and you truly believe he's more dangerous than whom?

Ok, personally, i think Obama is a total idiot, and he doesn't know what he is doing.... but really, all these stupid things he wants to force us to do, like take guns out of homes, and make all kids lean Spanish, i believe this is total BS, why should we be forced to learn Spanish, and yet the immigrants don't need to learn English?  It is there problem if they cant understand us, they wanted to come over here so bad This is America, and you should have to be able to speak English, or at least learn it, the illegals come over and complain because they cant speak English or w/e, personally though, i just think it is totally wrong that he wants to force us to learn spanish

I have no doubt he is a decent,thoughtfull person.I have to admit through the campaign he seems to have politically matured,that he's grown more up to the job...Unlike Hillary who just shrivelled during her farcical run for the nomination.

I don't think Obama seriously thought he was going to beat Hillary or he would have taken care of that business with the crack-pot shout & hollar minister much sooner.

Also interesting that Obama never belonged to a church until he entered politics.Which makes me wonder whether he believes in God at all.
