How bout weakest? According to our games choices, Stuka with 2 x 7.9mm guns forward and a double 7.9mm for the tail gunner.

Actually, the D3A Val has the weakest forward firing armament.

Thanks for the info. I am pretty new to the game and it seems like i waste so much ammo shooting at planes. I seem to hit them a lot but I am not very skilled at staying on their 6 for long. I need something that will take the paint off. Great info and thanks for the replies. 

If you're new take a Spitfire.  The 20mm Hispanos have a flat trajectory, a reasonable rate of fire and they pack a punch.

B25 isn't a fighter, and the Yak T is far too good for use against GVs.

Lets face it the most powerful projectile in the game is whatever the red guy happens to be throwing at my plane at that particular moment, one shot pop! the weakest is whatever i happen to be using at any given moment, it seams i can put 20 or 30 20mm cannon rounds into someone and they fly around like i just tickled their bottom with a feather!

The Type 97 guns of the Val are slower-firing than the Ju-87's MG 17, and their synchronisation system was inferior, which makes them even slower. However, the practical difference wouldn't be huge - both armaments were rather ineffective.

I would gladly strafe vehicular sitting ducks with such uber-guns. While stroking my beard and laughing evilly no less! However, unlike some AH players, I am not possessed by an unreasoning hatred of the GV game and GVers so profound that it makes me twitch spasmodically while posting. Thus I would also see the reason and fairness in assigning such weapons a respectable perk-cost.
