Did I read CNN Correctly ???  Apparently Obama voted WITH BUSH on the Bailout !

What happened to Change ? Hope ? and Yes We Can ?

Why, he's no better than McCain... voting along with Bush !!!!  :devil

So true... This illustrates why I have been saying for months that I am voting for Bob Barr, the only conservative in the race.  The Republican party has been hijacked by a bunch of globalist liberals... Bush 1 & 2, McCain, Graham...

The funny thing is that it's all the centrists that voted for the bailout.  Those on the far left and right voted "no."  Now, what do those on the far left and the far right have in common? :devil

It's relative.  McCain is a centrist compared to the rest of the senate, but not by your definition.

anax.. you said the centrists voted for it..  some did... but most of the worst of the looney left voted for it... Osamabinbiden was voted the most liberal senator.

Pelosi is centrist?  my state of kalifornia is....  cen..  cen... centrist?

If you think that those people who voted for the bailout are mostly centrist then you have a far different idea of what centrist is than I.

While I hate the left..  the centrist is almost as bad..  someone in the middle of the road is dangerous to themselves and everyone else trying to use the road.

On this bailout..   You can't fix bad government by adding a bunch more government.

Bullpucky.  Your own Barbara Boxer is 10x more to the left than Obama.  Whatever votes Obama made that earned him that ranking he shared with half of his colleagues.
