Need a formation flying buddy in New England

Used to fly formation with a bunch of guys when I lived in CA - but since I came back to the east coast I haven't run into anyone who really likes going places with another plane attached at the hip. So, if you got a pair of wings, and are on Long Island, or Connecticut - let me know.

Nice. The Cessna 172 I've been flying couldn't keep up with that even with the engine upgrade. My cruise is 125 or so.

Its what we call a built in headwind. Truthfully though, I'm considering downgrading to a smaller Lancair 360 or Legacy. Its been rare that i've filled 4 seats and I can get 230 knots on 9 GPH in something smaller. Just more efficient when i'm only carrying myself or 1 other person and bags. Versus now where it is around 140 knots on 9 GPH.

The 172 I'm flying burns 8-10 GPH. It's a bit of a pig.
