New kid in town
« on: October 06, 2008, 12:24:02 PM »
This beauty just arrived here. Kiwis will surely know it very well, it's a Polikarpov I-153 Chaika.

Low pass, 300 mph

Its arrival is quite symbolic, since the I-15 (predecessor of the I-153) was built here in Sabadell during the Spanish Civil War.

The cockpit is actually very ergonomic for a '39 warbird.

How can the words "ergonomic" and "open" be used in the description of the same cockpit?  :huh

That is one cool looking bird.
