CH Fighterstick, X52 Throttle and Saitek Rudder pedals.

The X52 joystick layout is - IMHO - streets ahead of the CH stick for comfort and usability and I really miss the two-stage trigger. However, the CH stick has the X52 beat for precision on the X and Y axis and that trumps button layout.

I've also got track-ir, but try as I might, I just can't get used to it.

My first joystick was some Walmart brand back in 1990 but I went through those at a rate of at least one every 2 mo.

Eventually I moved to Logitech's Wingman Extreme, had a few of those then Saitek Cyborg or something. Eventually I started using Thrustmaster products, Fox2 Pro..etc.

Now I fly only with CH products. Combatstick, Pro Peddals, Pro Throttle.

I've had CH since about 2001 and have never had any problems. Though they are a bit more expensive than most brands to me they are by far the best. I heard Thrustmaster's Cougar is a good setup though.

Don't get me wrong, I've never had a 'bad' joystick that I can remember aside from maybe the early no-name Walmart brands but even they were better than keyboard/mouse...to me.

CH Fighter Stick, CH Pro Throttle, and Saitek Pro Pedals, because the CH pedals are too closely spaced for my size 13 feet. :)

Oh, and a cold Sierra Nevada whenever possible. :aok

What's it like to have 100s dollars worth of flight controls and to know that you still suck.  :D

MS FFB2 (red light version) - have several (both blue/black box) with worn triggers/hats that are fixable if i ever get around to it.

Used to also use some TM pedals (dunno where they are now).  Originaly flew with TM TopGun series (alway wore out the pots). I need to dig them out and see what i can do.. some planes benefit greatly from pedals.

An original Microsoft sidewinder( I know It's amazing isn't it? This thing is ancient.) And a plan-tronices headset. (don't use rudder pedals)
SideWinder Precision Pro here!  :D My dad used it back in the day in AWII when i used to sit in his lap and watch. It still cuts it for me 13 years later  :aok

Still practicing offline with a Saitek X35Throttle (X36 Joystick pitch pot gone bad) and ST290Pro.

Anybody know a source for X36 pots?  I thought about cannibalizing the ST290Pro pots but they are smaller and I like its action.
