There are those.

But you know you've seen the "I'm leaving because blah blah blah, won't you all miss me?" two or three times for each "goodbye,  :salute" types right?

This is almost exactly like the last time the O'Club was "killed".
And the time before that.

Actually, you have it backwards. I've seen far more of the *goodbye I had fun* types than any other goodbye type of posts.

Who the hell said I wuz leaving... ??  The O'Club's has been prepped for surgery... not me. I wuz bemoaning the upcoming castration of the remaining lobotomized in-patients.

I just moved my opinionated cheekbones to where they can't get at it.

I figured server problems, saw some guy post "CV writing" like 4 times in general discussion.  Now I notice my comment is devoid of its context.

Go away to a trade show and look what happens. Too bad. Can't blame HTC from a business standpoint. I pretty much set the same rules on day one at the forum on the new work web site. Business sites and forums should be about the product, you should have limited extracurricular discussions and vanilla is an appropriate flavor for a business community.

But, too bad.

Quite the unique place full of unique people. Could have some extraordinary discussions here. Not stamping my feet or anything, but I already get too much vanilla as part of daily life. Aircraft and Vehicles still holds plenty of appeal, though oddly that has been the scene of some of the most vicious flames.

I was thinking about that while I was working today.
I think if we looked into it farther.
We might find it mysteriously also coincided with major elections.

Personally I think the timing is bad.
Had they waited until a couple of weeks after the election this might not have been needed.

Doing so now. Well. given the up comming elections. Elections that are among the most important many of us have faced in our lifetimes.
And the current state of just about everything.
These are the subjects people want to talk about.

And more importantly.
These are the times it is most important that people talk about them.
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty
