I am O.K at cv landings but my bloody zero never catches the wire. Brakes work good.

shame the RN want to get rid of her because "it costs too much".  On about some charity or foundation to look after her.

try taking off a cv with a heavy hellcat loaded with fuel, 1000lb bombs and rockets and landing it back on the cv 3 times without scratching it. it is something my squad does for a medal.

i drank a fifth of rum and a couple beers in a few hours till i finally got my hands steady enough to finally pull it off.
