Thrustmaster Used To Be Good

After four years of AH, I am in need of joystick advice.
Question: What sticks are out there that are made in the same "hand" style as my Thrustmaster T. Flight Stick (with the twisty rudder?) http://www.thrustmaster.com/product.aspx?ProductID=94&PlatformID=5

I don't care for Saitek, although they are a very reliable brand. Even after adjustments, they do not conform well with my short fingers. Too "lanky" of a stick for me.

Logicrap is way out of the question. Very unreliable.

I've relied on Thrustmaster because it comforms best to my hand. Any other current brands out there?

Let me specify further to please thou: I have been through three Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox2 Pro's during the last four years. This T. Flight stick I use now has been purchased on Ebay in supposedly new condition, still in the box and wrapped. In less than three months, one rudder pot is now malfunctioning. I do not play AH very often. Mostly weekends. I will endeavor to rectify the problem with my brother's help tomorrow. As I simply asked earlier, what other reliable twisty-stick brands are there?

I really liked the Fox2 stick. It lasted a year and the throttle slider broke. I bought the T Flight Stick X and it lasted 3 whole weeks. The auto-centering ring (whatever it's called) broke and the stick leaned to the side when let go of.  The shape of the stick and placement of the buttons on it are awesome. The quality is polar opposite.

I bought an X-52 and the y axis (and sometimes x axis too) cannot remain calibrated. In fact ( in map controllers) it constantly moves up and down when the stick is centered. This happened after 3 weeks as well. Bad luck i guess. Tried a powered usb hub to no avail. I am contented now using the X-52 throttle and the cheapo St290 stick.

I'm very happy with my all-USB CH rig: Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, Pro Pedals.  Been beatin' on 'em for years, and so far, only the right toe-brake on the pedals has given me any problem.

For over ten years I have used CH. The only reason I got a new set was the USB Pro set up cam out (have been using it every day for five years with no misshaps). I fly MSF-X, WarBirds and AcesHigh on a regular basis. Never once had a controller go out on me. I can jump from one game to another and don't have mapping issues. VERY robust manager that allows for programing strings to key strokes. The only part of my SIM pit I love more than the TrackIR4 is my CH Pro FS/PT/PP. If you are going to spend money CH is IMHO the best on the market.

The AV8R is a nicer stick than the ST290.  I have one of each.

I know that you dont like logijunk, and for the most part i must agree. but i had a logitech wireless. not an ir modle, but a radio wireless (is that wifi?) well anywyas the thing was great! worked amazingly well and cost less than $50.00 brand new. i stopped using it because i had dropped it hard once and the centering started to give me problems after.
i now use a thrust master HOTAS cougar. its a solidly built stick and throttle set up that takes the abuse i give it. but with a price tag around the $200.00 mark it may be beyound what most want to spend. as well it is not a twisty so the added investment of $100.00 or more for pedals puts the cost up there a bit.
