I have only been playing AH for several weeks but i'm ready to fork over my $30 per month so I thought I would voice my opinion on one game play issue.
The introduction of the F4U-1c was a mistake.
I dont have the time or the expertise to do the climb test, the dive test, damage to air frame etc... ( I do enjoy the post about them though) The game was a lot more fun for me before this plane was introduced. I flew in another sim for several years with a squad that only flew f4u (when available) I love the plane, but not this model. There were a limited amount of these planes made and not very many of these were in combat. How about limiting them to 200 available aircraft per week? (Na, guys like me would crash 200 into a mountain the first day  )
I don't have abestos underwear so let me restate that this is only my opinion. "The gameplay was much better before this plane was introduced.

Well, the plane set will vary and increase as time goes on.  I am not a wizard, but it is easier to "modify" an existing plane than to re-invent one.  (IMO)  Be patient Grasshopper.  "A tree that falls in the forest, where no ears can hear....makes no sound!"

I fly the F4u pretty much only.  The only exception is field defense I will grab a spit.  I am happy to see the 1C come out.  I makes ppl a lot more wary in jumping a hawg or trying to go HO.  I fly the 1D 90% of my sorties.  The 1C is great for buff busting or cap but give the my .50s for everything else

You always have to give some time to any new additions or changes to settle in.  Earlier this week, you couldn't fire a shot without hitting a 1C.  Since then, their numbers have dropped off a lot.  It's a process that will repeat, I guarantee it.

It's not like this is the first plane that filled the arena when it was released.  Example:  Remember when the 190 came out, you couldn't fly for 2 minutes without seeing one.  But now, I hardly ever see them anymore.

I've heard that we will be getting the p38 and Typhoon soon.  Anyone want to bet me that the arena won't be filled with them for the first two weeks after their release?    (Btw:  Typhoon has 4 20mm Hispanos too, not only that, but it's faster than F4u too.)  I won't say anything more, because you can bet that I too will try out these planes as soon as they are released.

Bloom.
The 190 seems to have really taken a hit from the intro of the 1c.
The plane that quietly keeps on in popularity is the 205. Lots of guys that only flew poneys havent flown them at all since they got there hands on the 205.
The planes I worry when I see them with advantage on me now are the 205 and the 109...
