After the Heinkel
« on: October 20, 2008, 06:38:57 PM »
I would have to say that the next update, 99.9% guaranteed will include the He-111. So what's after that? I would say please, for the love of God, update the two Junkers. Compared to the new models, they look horrible. They're not a prettiest, or the best, but they badly need it. And seeing how the new Sturmovik is doing with its 37mm cannons, I know everyone wants it, but the Stuka does not need another pair of giant cannons, even if we do get it, no one will use it after 1 day. Why? It have way less ammo, worse handling, and not-that-great armor than the Il-2.
As for the 88, give us a the night-fighter/interceptor version, a G-1 or G-2 would do nicely. If it wasn't for AvA and FSO, you wouldn't see this heap of metal in the any of the MA. You'll probably see 1 or 2 in the Early Arena, but not to great extent.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

You're making a big assumption that everyone chooses to fly an aircraft because they think it's the best performer.

Especially against CV's.

88 is the second most common bomber I see going after a CV, lancs being the most common.

The stuka still can turn more or less like a D3A...with 37mm it would be a nightmare on furballs.

If..IF! there will be an update with the He111, the second on the list should be the A26 (i'm not interested on that one but that's the vote result..)
Imho there's a miss of assault planes like the Me410, Pe2, Tu2, D4Y, Yak2 ecc ecc.... that's just my opinion :)
