I don't know weather or not the Temp has a rear mounted engine, but I found that when you get shot with an oil leak, the oil does not show up on the cowel. It could be vice versa, were you get oil in the cockpit, were you shouldn't.
Its either or.

Oil only shows up on the cowl on the newest planes.
