This is Tac's idea but it is so good that I will post it immediately.

When you select a plane and fuel loadout in the mission planner, it would be really cool if the map showed a circle around the starting airfield which would indicate the aircraft's radius of operation.

The actual radius is difficult to calculate, because it varies with load, configuration, altitude, airspeed, etc.   So an approximate radius could just be drawn for a clean aircraft operating at sea level at 100% throttle.  The radius would take into account the arena fuel burn rate multiplier setting as well as the amount of fuel loaded in the mission plan.

This would be useful in the Main Arena, and would be especially useful for Special Events where there are different fuel multipliers, and the planner's "arena intuition" about operational radius is not useful.

While I'm at it, it would also be neat to have circles showing the detection radius of each radar on the map.

Yes I played way too much Falcon 3.0.

SWOTL showed this, I thought it was very cool.
