freetrack 2.2 profile for AH??
« on: October 30, 2008, 11:49:17 PM »
OK, got a 3 point system, went Frankenstein on my logitech SXT and am downloading AH on my other XP OS so I dont hose my "good" setup while I fool with this. From what I can see it all works but seems like an awful lot of touchy feely to make it work. I'll wade thru the help file and online forum but if anyone has a working profile i'd love to take a look at it.

Well my profile isn't tweaked to the way I like it, but its functional.  At least its a lot better than the HOTAS on my AV8R joystick.  Anyways, my cam is about 24" away from my head and these are are the settings I use in the Profile.  Note these are less senstive than the default ones.  At current, when I turn my head all the way to the side, I can check my 7 and 5 o'clock positions and if I go straight up I can check my 6 o'clock high.  For my straight six view I use my HOTAS and move my head to see around the tail since I do not like moving my head 1/2" and viewing all the way behind me (makes gunning easier for me).  Anyways:

Yaw: 3.8
Pitch: 5.8
Roll: 0.4
X: 1.6
Y: 0.4
Z: 1.0

Smothing: All at 15

Currently I do not have it tweated to be able to 'easily' see over the front of the nose.
In game callsign: not currently flying
Flying off and on since Warbirds
