compare a p-40 with a zeroes.  his but should have been shot down a long time ago.

Well, Eugene Welch did just fine at Pearl..
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

If you where one of the only two LW aircrafe flying over the Normandy Invasion beaches, What would you do?  I guess i would just say, "to hell with this, i am going home".

 are you refering to Josef"pips" Priller and his wingman?

Yes.  Since they where the only two that showed up on that day.  Unless there was other.
