CNN's Holographic Interviews
« on: November 05, 2008, 03:10:59 PM »
Those of you who watched CNN's election coverage were treated to a new form of correspondent reporting: The Holographic Interview.  Just wondered what you guys thought of it...

Coolness factor very high... useful and better factor... fairly low.

It's Wolf Blitzer.  The man is going to look like an alien regardless of how he is projected.

Until it's actually projected into the same room I don't think it's to useful.

Typical of our current media.  Lots of flash and no substance.  Too much editorial and too little facts.

Meh ~ not that great.  Would be more interesting to have their field reporters in there, including the background images instead of making it just the gal.

*edit* by background,  I mean tanks rolling past if they're embedded in the war zones, crashing waves behind them if they're reporting hurricane, etc... not just whatever bland building is behind them. =)
