BoB Logs

Do they only get released after the entire scenario has finished?   :(

Yes they will be posted after Frame 4.  This has been the case for the last few scenarios, so better get used to it.  :)

I still don't like it :(

Maybe basic logs should get released before the next frame, with detailed logs released after the event.  In war the intelligence officers would have drawn up a picture about what is going.

A retarded stupid idea huh?  Some joker does 1 scenario and thinks he needs to change the way its been for 20 years. I mean god forbid if one team new they were behind they might all quit.. instead of trying harder.

I can tell ya there was alot of killings and  thousands of assists

Fariz looks like top axis with 6
Furball only had 5

mipoikel had 4 + for the Raf

OK that was just a quick look and may not be totally accurate .

The rest of you are NOT gettting results /logs til the End of the scenario !!!

You have your own log.  It's called "film".  Use it. Save it. Review It.   :aok

Actually, i am more than "some joker" because i have participated in scenarios whenever i could for the years that i have been in Aces High.

http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/index.php/topic,156517.0.html

It has not been that way for 20 years, the majority of scenarios have released logs after every frame.  This is likely the last scenario i will participate in, so wanted to know the result before i go away in late November.

War is not fought completely blind, there are intelligence reports, and if 1 side is willing to give up after getting a pasting after the first few frames i would be surprised.

Thought i had more than that, guess i got a few assists.

<S> to all involved, i had a great time.

I would prefer to have the logs after every frame.  I'm not going to whine about it, but there's my opinion.

To expand a little Furball, most intel reports come from whatever side you're on, IRL there was no central entity that would disclose the damage inflicted by each side, you could only go off of reports from your own allies.  Therefore, it is up to each side to develop their own intel reports after each battle.  There have already been some on the Axis side that were put up with the AAR's after reviewing film and from pilot recollection.  So, Sloehand has the right idea, film and review.

ok guys this is it ... we stopped posting frame logs til end of scenario over a year ago .

the main Reason >> Because to many  players Quit when/if they think they are losing . <<the main reason.

Also no logs add to the Emersion value . Now you have to make AAR's and sometimes guess what was accomplished or review films.

Currently We are keeping a Full Player Tally and Scenarios have been getting closer to full "Historic" value.

I like this idea.  I don't care to know who won the frame, but it's fun to read the list of who shot down who.

That's fair enough, i love scenario AARs.  But IRL there would be post operation photo recon reviewed by intelligence officers for damage assessment, debriefings and reports, spies, interception of enemy traffic, observers on the ground/ships/bombers all collated by another source.

Anyway, i just wanted to see the logs and how we did.  Whatever system works best, you know much better than i do.   :aok

That's exactly what I am saying.  If whoever is in charge of each side appoints an intel officer to collect films and whatnot from each of the squads since you're not allowed to intercept radio traffic, have secret operatives, etc. etc. you would have those high quality intel reports if they put them together which does take time.  The AAR's that are done on the Axis side are top notch from what I have seen so far, it just takes time to read them.  I was just saying that you wouldn't have one centralized organization like the CM's to post damage for both sides, you would only have your side's intel officers to do the work.  Put it out there and see if anybody steps up to the task, there are still 2 frames to go.
