Nothing to moan about!
« on: November 10, 2008, 07:22:56 PM »
Hi everyone,
I just felt like it was time to say I am pleased that Aces High is still around so I can have some on-line fun from time to time. I've seen many changes over the years, some good some not so good, but overall the game is still good enough for me to stick with it so I can spend a few hours now and then taking part in the action. Depending on my mood, you will find me defending against overwhelming odds on a vulched field or hanging around at alt to pick off some easy kill that's been run down.

I am not your hardened gamer, just a user who drops in, sometimes every night for a week or two and then maybe not even once in a month. The interesting thing is, I've had many hobbies, but this game has endured longer than most. It is quite simply whatever you want it to be, a place to get together with like minded friends and do the squad thing or simply be the loner who at least has allies even if you don't know who they are! The gameplay quality will always swing back and forth as time moves on, above all it will never stagnate. Fact is, like it or not change is certain and I have to compliment the Aces High team for all their work that keeps it changing.

I do have one thing for a wish list though. Could you guys please recode the old AV8b assault game (you know the one on the island Timor) so I could have a go on that now and then. Short of buying an obsolete PC and trying to find an original diskette it came on, I have no chance of playing it again. Then again I would be shocked by the old graphics since I have been spoilt. I have never seen anything new remotely as much fun for a stand alone game! - I have absolutely no idea if it would work as a multiplayer game, but if it could, you're the guys to make it work. Oh BTW you would need to carry on with AH as well, just so that I could switch between the two as the mood would take me! That's all, Tally Ho!
