I created an Aces High team over at kiva.org.  I even made a loan, I thought, under that team but it somehow got assigned to the USA team instead.  Bummer. If you're on Kiva already, join the AH team 

For anyone not knowing, Kiva is an organization that handles micro-loans to poor individuals so that they can lift themselves up to a better standard of living.  It is hand up, not a hand out - you can withdraw your contributions at any time.

Apparently you need to be in the US to make the loans/or donation.

That sucks...great idea and great cause IMHO.

Micro finance organizations like Kiva and the Grameen fund are brilliant.  They really change lives through work.

I'll have to check it out. I do not help fund groups that take the bulk of capital for expenses. There are a very few who actually help folks that are on the ropes and just need a hand.
