Tank detracking

I never keep my tracks after any strafe attack, even from a plane with only .50s. Anyone who has seen a Pnzr IV track in real life would probably agree with me that this is highly improbable. I'd accept this from sustained strafing, but after only 2-3 hits from any angle?

I for one have stopped tanking, since I never get close to enemy fields anyway.

The road gear is a weak link. It's not that far off, historically.

Now the bright guys in the US, who made rubber track linkage standard during WWII, they deserve a metal. Preferably full metal jacket, through the noggin.

Right now the entire armor model is one big bug. I've been killed by .30 cal MGs, Ostwind's 37mm, Luftwobble 20mm, even an M3!! Don't go tanking until they get the glass tanks fixed. I'm going to stay away from them myself until things are fixed. Just too frustrating being killed or having both tracks knocked off by someone driving an M3.

I noticed that myself. Tracks are coming off very very easy, to even light MG fire.

Realistic? I don't know to be honest, but it sure feels wrong.

Verm ask a buddy to join you in the TA and have him up in an LVT. You up in an LVTA4 and shoot him head-on with just the .50 cal. I'll bet you $20 he blows up within 50 rounds. I'll also put that $20 on your .30 cal blasting his tracks off. I had both happen this morning, along with an Osty killing my Panzer's turret with .30 cal fire alone.

I see the same stuff, but...I suspect HTC is aware of this and the other things that v1.071 hadn't addressed yet. The crew probably took the weekend off and we'll get another patch before too long. <puts silly looking Karnak <Carson> turbin back in box>. There are problems but HTC's track record is good enough for me that I won't squeak about the glass Panzer....not for a few weeks anyway.
