In that post you will notice that Grey Eagle is quoting a guy called Badz, who wrote that note from memory. Badz was the name I flew under during the latter years in Air Warrior, and it was all a long time ago. I wrote that note and posted it in a private forum at GE's request. Yes I was there at the time, witnessed it all first hand, but my eyesight and memory are disappearing almost as quickly as my hair :)

A couple of folks who actually do (did) fly fighters pretty much outed him after he tried to trick us.  He managed to steal some money from one guy, but we figured it out before anyone else got suckered into sending him any money.

The guy is either a really dumb scam artist or is one of the most deluded people I've ever come across online.  What makes him different than other scammers is that he tried to play on most flightsim gamer's respect for RL military pilots to steal from the gaming community.  Some gamers will give him a pass since he didn't actually steal from them personally, but no military (or ex-military) member will let it slide or forget what he did.
