It's not for me.
But from your posts in Humbles thread in the help forum I gather we look at the game differently to begin with.
My post in Humble's thread were mostly about questioning the assumption that E fighting is fundamentally easier and somehow less "proper" ACM than variants on angles fighting, that is all. If that is some horrible defect in how I look at the game, so be it.
Throughout this whole thread, I'm wondering what people are expecting. To never be attacked by superior numbers, face a hot merge, or have an opponent bug out? Maybe you are expecting too much out of an environment that is multi-bandit by definition. Maybe one could think of these as just extra challenges of the MA environment. Maybe there is some happieness to be found in adjusting one's practices to the chaotic nature of the MA. I could be on here lamenting that yesterday I got bounced low and slow in my Jug by a Pony, but put him in out and front and landed a telling snapshot. Only to have an F4U corsair try to pick me while I was going around with the pony on the deck, pilot wound me HO when I turn to face him. (no room to duck under) But then he augered

. Then I take the Mustang's wingtip off, but auger with my pilot wound trying to avoid a second Corsair before I get the kill or see who it is...Yeah, I could blame advertisements on History Channel, new players, HTC, whatever, get all huffy and cancel my account, but the fact is, if I wanted action, fact is, I found all I could handle, and if I didn't like the combination of bad luck and bad choices that led to me being in an "unfair" fight, maybe I shouldn't be in the MA.
