To a degree good fights are within our control. We can lobby for an arena that encourages them and is policed like the AVA is. If enough people support it an Arena like Rosco set up in SEA can happen. WE do not need to ACCEPT this crap forever. I to am tired of people hiding behind "connection issues" as well as all other types of truly lame play. WE can BRING BACK THE CODE to at least a small portion of our online environment for the few hundred of us that really want it. What we have is another form of relaxed realism and what we need is the equivalent of a true "FR" arena.

tbh ive never had that much of a problem with laggers etc. might be cause i keep such a clean n smooth running system and have a 100/100 meg PL free connect..
i never saw enough warpers to really have an effect on my killing routine. if you're gonna quit the game quit because of the uncreative development additions and lack of effort to add more depth&immersion to the gameworld.

Sounds like a good number of people would like to see you stick it out Tool.  I hope you will too!

I don't know if you've done much as far as scenarios or events go but I'd like to invite you to join my squad for a FSO if you'd like.  We were one kill short of top allied squad this past week with 20 kills and only 8 of us.  We play a very different game in FSO as compared to the MA where we mostly goof off and try to steal each others kills or whatnot.

I've cut back on my amount of flying and have found the time I do spend up is a little more enjoyable.  MidWar arena has been pulling me in recently as well.

Should you decide to call it quits you will be missed by the entire community.  For me, who is going to kill me in one move every time I face them?  Good luck sir!  Hope you stay but if you must go... :cry

I do understand tool. Just too many that won't fight anymore. Hoin is so prevalent it is rediculous. It has infected the MW arena in mass. Used to be that you could find a good fight most any night in there. I went up last night and the first 7 planes I met started off with a HO. Funny thing was... that is all they had. Seems many wont try to improve or learn at least some basic moves. Quickly getting boring the past few days. What ever you decide good luck in the future. <S>

I noticed that the other day too Shuff, but some guys will still put up a good fight with ya.  There's a couple I'm hunting for, they know who they are  ;), just some friendly dying on my part.  Oh, and I still need to repay Von, I'll figure out how to beat him one day.

Just really getting tired of warp on command players and this new thing I've been seeing where guys shoot out what appears to be the side of their plane.

Just to many out there looking for short cuts to alt, kills and the avoidance of being killed.

Well at least they aren't trying to take all of Tank Town... again :lol

Agree 100% with you sir, Last few weeks have been terrible for the 2 sector chase following a mistimed ho attempt, Hope we can get that SEA arena up and running soon, I'd even chip in a buck or two per month to get this.
Seems like the last few times I've logged on I come accross the same lame stuff.
1. Coalt merge, followed  by a mistimed HO then a split s and dive asap to friendlies.
2. 2 sector chase with some alt till fuel gets low and then rtb.
3. dive real fast and circle ack as slowly as possible hoping the ack gets you.
4. Reverse-HO-Reverse-HO and then run
5. long chase till chased con has multiple players from same side nearby then tries to reverse on to you hiding behind said players.

Well I'm kind of floored by the comments made. I'm not really sure what to say....  :o                Thank you

I think it's fair to say that we all can become frustrated with the game at times. I  just don't want to see these kind of things become so wide spread that it begins to ruin the fun of our game.

I took Lynx advise and defraged and downloaded the program he offered. I realize some of us do have connection problems and I could easily be affected as well, but like many of you, Ive been here a while. I know the difference between out of your control and within your control. Taking your lanc's or whatever plane it is your in and increasing distance by the 500's to get away is not fair. When finally caught up with, using that same tactic but in reverse really P's me off. I've seen it before and i don't like it. Accept that your about to be shot at and defend yourself honorably or be called out and reported as a possible hak.

IMO, repeat offenders should be looked into and made an example of just like with any of the code busters....if there were any  :o

Anyway, I really appreciate the comments and as for the well being of the game and it's subscribers,.. I hope some attention can be brought to the matter.

 A :salute to all
