The knights are taking A108 and have the field capped. A few of us are inb from P109. I says to the chaps " if they take it de-ack the town and I'll goon it back". Sure enough just as we get vis 108 goes knight. A couple of us do de-ack the town but I get shot down when the "dot showjoin 0" didn't work and sticks the blasted pop up in the way
So I up a goon asap and trundle me way over there from a northern base. The dar bar is large as rooks an knights duke it out between 109 & 108. I'm thinking this is a bad plan but no guts no glory etc. As I skim the waves the island comes into view, then the outline of the SB and town. Getting closer I see dots upping SW from the field but peeling off east before they reach the town. Using the SB as cover I aim for that an kill me motor just before land. Goons glide along way
and I skim the beach to the open area off green field by the town. Just as I lower flaps an Lgay takes off and comes to 1k off the town. I'm committed to landing and think I'm spotted as the Lgay turns around but he goes back to the field.
Having landed all nice an proper other fighters come close as the 10 troops are singing "Hi ho hi ho it's off to work we go". In external view I think "silly me"
as they scale a building but I'm pleased as they pop themselves in the map. Having received Map room destroyed
my attention is drawn to the field as the ack opens up on a fresh upper but just then, you'll love this, a 262 comes wobbling into view on final....port engine out. I thinks "no!". I quickly relay what I'm seeing on squad vox as the newly reacquired ack rips the living watermelon outta the faited 262
