Yup.  They hould make the existing cities we have now into uber cities with a couple of airfields, strats, vbases etc.  Great idea having the strats bring up the airfields faster or effect them somehow like that.
It would bring more excitement into  the bomber ranks.  More formations of bombers needed hence more fighters needed to stop them.  That would give us more realistic WWII air battles instead of the rolling mob furballing over one little base with noobs upping tryingg to defend.  You'd actually have to  learn something other than the furball.  I like to furball too but it gets boring after a while.
there is quite more to this game.

Aaaaarrrrrgggghh, that's more like it - make buff sorties worthwhile - massive air battles over the big cities, flak thick enough to walk on, let the buff guys up a big bunch of AI to do it, when the city goes down all the local airfields are out of supply, chaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrge go the gv guys, Hut hut hut hut hut go the grunts, fighter weenies stretched too far to protect the fields, so they gather over the cities next time...

muahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaa I can see it all now!
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB
