I realized what I did was wrong. I just hope Ginger will come to that realization too. I got yelled at by my CO for it. I'm just trying to make it right and get everything out there on the table. Thing is, I enjoy this game and I apologize to the community for jeopardizing the integrity of this game and my squad. <S>

I like the new tool but not for witch hunting, but for the other things it offers. 

I am thinking that if HTC wanted to, they could find the account vulchers and deal with them on their own.  I am a DBA, if the data is there, it could be done without leaving the player base to call it to their attention. 

Padding scores by repeatedly offing a shade is the weakest form of gaming the game there is.  I think HTC should not let this activity benefit a player.  If they want to do it, fine, it should just not count towards their perks or score.

I don't think so. They would bail each time they think they are getting killed anyway... just to "deny" the kill to their enemy. Dead is dead for score purposes anyway.

Actually I think the vast majority of AH players isn't that much inerested in score anyway - otherwise HO wouldn't be the standard MA ACM, and Lancstukas & suicide porkers be be the exception rather than the norm

But could you imagine the "Race" to see who could be #1 in bails per Tour?

It's called community policing.  Now, instead of unsubstantiated accusations,you have a little bit of evidence.

In any sport, the score becomes academic when it seems like the rules of fair play don't apply to one team.

The reason people said they didn't care about score in AH was because people knew the scoring system was wasn't fair, being thrown out of whack by imbeciles shooting shade accounts but with no one able to prove anything.

When a total unknown with poor Main Arena fighting skills (but only anecdotally) rises to #1 in the scores, you'd be a fool not to wonder if something was fundamentally wrong with the scoring rules.

In other words, folks had a good feeling the scores weren't reflective of actual real gameplay.

Now that the new scorig pages are in place, we know this for sure. Finally.

I predict caring about score will be cool once all the cheaters are brought to light, and the system in is place to keep everyone honest and the scores to at least be fair.

I would say even further we already can respect a 'good score' but as individuals we decide what that comprises of. Widewing got a huge kill streak to no deaths a while back, as an example, and it was celebrated mildy by friends here. We each define our own score card it's just that some people are not very creative at doing so.

But now that we have the new scoring utility guys like you Tool or should I call you SaintTool J/k can ferret them out, I was only concerned with my own squads reputation at the time.

 Tool, how long has it been since you left the Aces and Eights? I was booted by the CO for trying to get support on the subject and other things concerned with that member, our XO, to often.

If your going to take the time to quote me, why do it out of context?  What is the first word of this sentence..... " I haven't decided which is worse, a cheater or snitch....Bottom line is having a "shade account" is allowed."? Obviously you took it personally and it is time to drop it, however when you drop in on the squad channel as a dear old friend and then get on this board spewing your holier than thou rhetoric while also gigging squad IMO.  I take it personal.   You want to drop it?  Quit kicking the horse, join a another squad, start your own squad but please would you just move on.  I'm done with ya Tool.

If everyone would apply, klinks rule of life #1.2 "dont beleive anything you hear, and only about 1/2 of what you see.......this would have no bearing. (shades) I do need to change the 1/2 to 3/4 these days though, my eyesight is getting bad, w age. simplifie :salutes stuff.
